Welcome to Dianthus Trading
Woking Borough Council have built a new site for the Woking Sea Cadets, TS Dianthus, in Goldsworth park. the building opened in August 2011. Not only will the site be used for the Sea Cadets it will also be open for the community as the building can be used for a variety of public and private groups or organisations.
Dianthus Trading actively encourages the use of the facility by other community users notably those aged 18 or younger. These include local schools, youth groups, societies, clubs and other community groups.
The primary aims of the new Dianthus site will be to provide
- A major new general purpose facility for Goldsworth Park and the Woking area
- A new site for the Woking unit of the Sea Cadets
- A centre for training activities by staff and members of other local Sea Cadet units
- An emergency facility for Woking Borough Council
